Sweden took the bronze after beating Canada, whohad made it to the semifinal after taking out the seeds of Great Britain. The top 8 teams is qualified for the new Champions Division at the European Team Championships taking place in Austria.
Since Canada cannot compete at the Euro Champs, the place was ever so important.
